BOOK COLLECTION

"World Of Knowing" is the name given for the creation of this collection of books. The collection's main theme is science and biology (food, nature, the human body, etc.) 

Some of the titles are: “Entangled Life”, “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking”, “Atomic Habits”, “When Breath Becomes Air”, “Breath”, “The Wim Hof Method”, “Finding the Mother Tree”, “Scary Smart”, “A World on the Wing”, and more. 

I have included, for this time, Entangled Life, Scary Smart and A World on the Wing in the books’ collection.

My goal with that project was to bring new people to these books, through a different identity and look.

The design goal was focused on creating a more impacting identity for the collection, bringing people's attention to the books at first glance, and an easy-going and direct design for the book’s body to offer a simple and comfortable reading experience.

My idea for the covers was to employ an unconventional use of typography, playing with the structure and the hierarchy of the words in the titles. With that, I could create different layers, and experiment inside them adding some graphics and vectorial illustrations. The same way nature works with all its layers and living creatures, complexity and beauty, at the same time, I wanted to play with all these components and create a new set of rules and beauty.
